About the Event

Ticket Options:

** GRAND TASTING: From 4pm to 7pm, Tour the most prestigious 8 wine regions from France in one room and enhance your understanding of French winemaking & terroirs by meeting local winery owners or wine experts.  Taste over 30 wines from 20 powerful and acclaimed French appellations. (The ticket includes a free Riedel glass to take home)

** MASTER CLASSES: From 5pm to 6pm. Choose one of the two master classes available and deepen your knowledge and appreciation of French wines through participating in one of the 2 master classes led by renowned wine experts:

- Master Class 1 (Blind Tasting): Challenge your palate and sharpen your senses with a blind tasting session, where you'll have the opportunity to guess the grape varietals and regions of select French wines. The tasting will include 5 wines from prestigious appellations. (only 30 seats available)

- Master Class 2 (Vertical Tasting): Learn about the benefits of French wine aging and the expression of the terroir through time. The vertical tasting will include 4 vintages between 2000 and 2018. (only 30 seats available)

** WINE DINNER: From 7pm. Encounter the ultimate wine experience when pairing each wine region with fine dishes prepared by the Chef of Capital Hotel.  The dinners will include 4 to 5 courses and will cover all 7 wine regions with the pairing of 12 wines. 7 local experts from the each winery will provide insights into the estate, the winemaking process and the terroir.

Regions showcased during the event:

Loire Valley: Delight in the refreshing and diverse wines of the Loire Valley, spanning from crisp Sauvignon Blancs to luscious Cabernet Francs (Sancerre, Muscadet, Chinon)

Burgundy: Discover the elegant and nuanced wines from the Burgundy region, renowned for producing some of the world's finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. (Chablis, Santenay, Volnay, Clos Vougeot, Corton)

Rhône: Explore the rich and robust red wines of the Rhône Valley, as well as the aromatic whites that showcase the unique terroir of the region (Chateauneuf du pape; Crozes Hermitage; Saint Joseph; Beaujolais, Cote Rotie, Vacqueyras, Provence)

Bordeaux: Immerse yourself in the grandeur of Bordeaux wines, famous for their exceptional blends and age-worthy reds from prestigious appellations (Saint Emilion, Medoc, Bordeaux Superieur, Cremant de Bordeaux)

Cognac: North of Bordeaux, this small region also produces. Unveil the winemaking potential of this region and discover other viariant ways to express the power of the grape.

South West-Madiran: Uncover the hidden gems of the South West region, particularly Madiran, known for its robust and tannic red wines made from the native Tannat grape.
