On May 30th, Arkansas becomes the stage for an extraordinary meeting of minds and traditions: David Biraud, one of the greatest sommeliers in the world, joins Laurent Lheraud, third-generation owner of the legendary Maison Lheraud, for an exclusive two-part tasting experience. This is more than a wine event — it’s a celebration of heritage, craftsmanship, and French savoir-faire.
David Biraud is a towering figure in the world of wine. Crowned Best Sommelier of France (2002), Best Craftsman of France (2004), and 2nd Best Sommelier of the World in 2016, he has spent decades refining his palate and guiding guests through Michelin-starred experiences at Hôtel de Crillon and the Mandarin Oriental Paris. Today, he teaches at the prestigious KEDGE Wine School, mentoring the next generation of sommeliers.

Alongside him stands Laurent Lheraud, whose family has been crafting exceptional cognacs since 1680. From their vineyards in Petite Champagne to their hand-blown glass bottles, Cognac Lheraud embodies time, patience, and artistry. The family’s vintage eaux-de-vie — including some dating back to 1802 — are bottled pieces of French history.
“Lheraud cognacs tell a genuine saga… They reflect the members of an entire family.” – David Biraud
