Chateau Dassault le D de Dassault
Francois' French Opinion: This second wine of classed growth Chateau Dassault is still young. It has tannins and a dense texture that comes from its rich fruit and high alcohol. However, it's balanced and jammy, with ripe blackberry flavors and a sense of restrained power. Good appearance. Strong garnet red colour, deep purple at the rim. Fresh and fruity on the nose, with notes of mint and liquorice. Full, fresh and spicy on the palate with crisp and finely defined tannins. Soft and enticing finish. A nice, pleasurable wine with good ageing potential.
