Ryan's Two-Cents: This Portugese wine is diverse with an array of aromas, you'll find red fruits and vanilla. Medium body in the mouth, the red fruit shines through, wood notes and fine tannins are smoothly integrated (proivded by ageing in 250 litres oak barriques.) The aftertaste develops smooth and rich flavors, some acidity and complexity, overcoming ripe fruit, chocolate and wood notes. Its dryness and persistence, along with the handsome tannins suggest this may be a wine to keep, if one can manage it.
