La Gascogne d'Alain Brumont Blanc
Francois' French Opinion: This blend of half Gros Manseng and half Sauvignon Blanc is crisp, lightly herbal and with a touch of honeyed pear to give it a ripe taste. A lively palate, the wine is anything but understated. It's thirst quenching, bold, and super tasty. It has a refreshing, cool character that's bright and tangy at the end. Sauvignon provides some notes of flowers, citrus and yellow fruits on the nose, and the Gros Manseng makes you take a second sip- long on the palate, refreshing and balanced. The length and balance is impressive.
