Grapes & Profile: 

A blend predominantly of Cabernet Sauvignon, with a smaller proportion of Merlot, sourced from vineyards neighboring the Saint-Julien appellation. The wine is aged for approximately 12 months in French oak barrels, contributing to its structure and refinement.

 

Nose:

The bouquet is expressive, offering aromas of blackcurrant, cherry, and raspberry, complemented by subtle notes of spice and a hint of oak, reflecting its careful barrel aging.

 

Tasting Notes:

On the palate, Pagus de Lagrange presents a vivid, tangy attack with a great freshness. The mid-palate reveals juicy ripe cherry and blackcurrant flavors, balanced by elegant tannins and a harmonious finish, showcasing both approachability and structure.

Pairings: 

This wine pairs well with a variety of dishes, including grilled meats, roasted lamb, beef tenderloin, and aged cheeses. Its structure also complements dishes with rich sauces and earthy flavors
