Patrick's Take: A luscious expression of the Oak Knoll District Appellation terrior: with temperatures a bit cooler than the upper valley, it gets the best of all attributes- enough heat to ripen the fruit to express lovely peach & pear flavors; cool enough to maintain the acidity for a crisp & juicy chardonnay. Vinted in the classic French style- the fruit dominates with just enough oak to give body and enough malolactic fermentation to make the wine smooth & creamy. The end result… a delicious food & sipping wine.
