Katie's Conclusion: This Merlot has a great balance between fruit and acidity with a slight wood character giving it a well rounded lingering finish and ensuring good cellaring potential. Merlot is great with chocolate dessert, for example double chocolate chip cookies, chocolate cream pie, or chocolate truffles would truly bring out the wine and dessert when paired together.
